How can you make money online with your website?

You've started building a website and you want to earn money from it right? Or are you thinking of starting out and wonder what to do in order to make your dream of earning lots of cash online a reality?

Once upon a time, when I began working on an idea for a website that would help others and also make me some extra money every month, I thought it would be easy to earn an income from a website. It is only now all these years later that I understand there is so much knowledge that you need to learn in order to turn your site into a source of cash.

I won't go through how much a beginner needs to learn but it is incredible because you need a wide variety of skills such as writing skills, technical knowledge and marketing knowledge....

But don't panic...there are many shortcuts, and one is reading a website like this one where I am laying out all the answers for you where possible or guiding you to where you can find the answers and help you need to earn and make money online.

If you want to take a short cut to success be careful, there are so many people who will try to take cash off you for nothing in return. What you need is quality information.

--There are three ways to make money with your website --

• Sell ad space (banner images or text links)

• Sell other people's products and earn a commission (affiliate marketing)

• Sell your own products (not as difficult as it seems but the last step after you have done the others) 

CONTENT = TRAFFIC = CLICKS = CASH

You need to write content or you have no website, you need web traffic which click through to your products and earns you cash.

In my experience, (10 years online now!), you cannot even think about selling ads until you have a lot of good content and traffic. Don't worry, that will come too...

It is not easy or quick but if you want to speed things up and get on the expressway to an online business that makes you cash every month....
